We can only deliver the best possible services to clients if we connect and collaborate with our partners. That’s why we actively cooperate with other public services, corporate and community planning mechanisms – and bring into play knowledge and skills from providers in the private sector. Our approach to partnership is integrated into the local community planning process, so that collaborative working is recognised and supported.
We have been commended for our Single Shared Assessment process – a method of working jointly with other agencies, both NHS and voluntary, to join up the work we do, avoiding duplication and benefiting service users. In addition, STARS, our Short Term Augmented Response Service, has received national recognition in the form of a Scholarship Award from the Florence Nightingale Trust.
